Snorkeling
Be sure to bring your snorkel gear! The natural features of Las Perlas beach create a protected tidal pool that offers an amazing glimpse of the undersea world. Your best opportunities for snorkeling here are the hours around low tide. Check with La Vida Nica for a tide chart during your stay.
The tide pool is also a great place for swimmers. With a sandy bottom that tapers very gradually and no undertow, it’s a great place for sunbathing and swimming. At low tide, the shallow water near shore is perfect for small children to paddle and play.
